Our Vision
Our vision is to create a sustainable music and arts festival that not only entertains but also raises awareness about the steelpan art form and the importance of STEAM and music education. We achieve this through year-round nonprofit programming, which includes classes, workshops, educational performances, and more, all centered around the vibrant sounds of the steel pan/ steeldrum.
Our Community
The Houston Steel Pan Festival is a 501c3 organization who does more than hosting the annual International Pan Arts Festival! We are a vibrant community of music lovers, artists, and volunteers who come together to celebrate the joy of music, performing arts and the artistry of the steeldrum. Our organization offers various programming throughout the year, in addition to our annual festival, to promote the rich culture of the steel pan.

We celebrate artistry in various forms! Our lineup includes musicians and performing artists, including talented dancers, artists, musicians and steeldrum players, from different backgrounds and cultures. This provides a platform for artists to showcase their talent, whether through the vibrant sounds of the steel pan or other artistic expressions, and connect with fans.
